IDT Europe bvba started in 2007, in close colaboration with Integrated Design Tools, Inc.
IDT began in 1997 with the purpose of providing digital imaging solutions for scientific and industrial communities. Their standard is excellence supported by their team of leading scientists in the fields of applied physics, imaging sensors, digital camera design and software. While high-speed digital imaging is our specialty, we also offer highly integrated systems that include data acquisition and signal synchronization modules. The product lines embrace industry standards such as high-speed USB and Gigabit Ethernet to supply plug-and-play instruments that are reliable, cost-effective, and easy to use. Versatile lighting systems are the most recent addition to our product portfolio.

Through a transaction with Roper Industries, IDT became the Worldwide distributor for all Redlake products, retains the rights to the use of certain trademarks and is responsible for the R&D of all camera platforms. IDT proudly offers high-tech equipment Made in the USA. Since its inception, IDT's headquarters are located in sunny Tallahassee, Florida with European operations out of Italy (Pergine Valsugana), Belgium (Lommel) and the UK (Hitchin). In 2004, IDT expanded to a design and prototyping facility in technology-rich southern California.
